‘Big brother’ satellite that can zoom in on the face of anyone anywhere is set to launch in 2025

Experts have warned of a satellite to be launched in 2025 capable of spying on people’s every move.

This satellite, called “Big Brother”, created by a startup company, Albedo, is so advanced that it can zoom in on people or even vehicle license plates from space.

Although Albedo says it doesn’t currently have facial recognition software, it doesn’t mention that they’re filming people or protecting privacy.

Albedo has signed two million dollar contracts with the US Air Force and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to help the government monitor potential threats to US national security.

About this, Electronic Frontier Foundation consultant Jennifer said, “This is a giant camera in the sky that can be used by any government at any time without our knowledge.”

The satellite will be placed in orbit at a distance of 100 miles from the earth.
